Franki Katz is a multimedia speculative and fantasy storyteller. She writes novels, short stories, and for the stage and screen. Based in so-called Vancouver in the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples, Franki’s work is based in Jewish mythology and ancient Semitic and Sumerian history. Her stories typically explore trauma, friendship, and disenfranchisement.
